The service was good in the restaurant. Hot water in the shower was a pleasant surprise. The beds were a mixture between OK and worn out. My breakfast of chilaquiles was not good. The property has a lot of potential, but they need to revamp it TV set needs replacent. The swimming pool was extremely dirty The pool attendant offer me to use a second smaller pool, it was full of leaves and debries as well.
Beautiful grounds, nice big rooms and great pools. Good location and great value for the money. Would definitely visit again. Needs to have wifi in all rooms. I always had to go to the common areas to receive a signal. Restaurant was not great. Supper was salty and the filet mignon was flank steak wrapped in bacon Breakfast not bad hard to wreck aan egg. Enjoyed the cottage cozy feel. The landscaping was really pretty. It was nice sitting in the outdoor lobby and around the pool. We enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate.
There was a small playground for small children which my friends' little girl enjoyed. Some in our group had hot water for the shower and others did not; however, the staff took care of this.
